Credit Cards: At Surfer Surplus, we gladly accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Diners Club, with a verifiable shipping address. For your security, orders are only shipped to the billing address of the cardholder. Under special circumstances, arrangements may be made for orders that need to ship to an alternate address. We do not charge your credit card until your order is shipped.
Checks & Money Orders: Preprinted personal and business check orders are shipped immediately with verification approval. Other check orders are shipped within 14 days. US Bank cashiers checks and United States Postal Service money orders are shipped immediately. Other money orders are shipped within 14 days.
Western Union Quick Pay: You can quickly and efficiently wire us payment by visiting any one of 17,000 Western Union offices worldwide. Western Union facilitates "same day" transfers of up to $5000 for only $12.95. Your order will ship on the same day that we receive the transfer (before 2pm Pacific Time). At Surfer Surplus, we want our customers to be satisfied! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it to us within 30 days of the invoice date for exchange, or within 7 days for a refund (no refund on shipping costs). Call us on 1-562-416-3621 for a return authorization number. Return Authorization numbers are good for 14 days. Pack the item in a strong box, including its original packaging (including all inserts, manuals and accessories) and send it back to us. Products in as new condition will receive an exchange or refund for the full value of merchandise. We will gladly pay the return shipping charges on defective items.
We do not accept items that have been used or items that have obviously been damaged by the customer. All approved returns must be in new condition with all original boxes, accessories, and packaging or they will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Products that has been used or damaged, or any product that looks used and cannot be resold as new, will automatically be charged a minimum 15% restocking fee. Special order items are specifically ordered for you and cannot be returned for credit or exchange. If your package arrives damaged or defective, please inform our Customer Service Department within 15 days of receipt of your order.
If you receive an item or items that have been damaged during shipping, you must contact Surfer Surplus within 24 hours on 1-562-416-3621. If you receive an item that is defective and you wish to return to it, you must contact Surfer Surplus within 15 days of receipt.
At Surfer Surplus, we employ the latest encryption and security technology in all areas where you provide us with personal or account information. Encyrption is implemented to protect you from unauthorized use of the information you send to our server. To make sure that your browser includes the latest security features, download and install the latest version of your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator etc). Once you provide us with your personal information, we store it in our 100% Secure Customer Database. This database is NOT accessible via the Internet. We also employ VeriSign software to enable the use of digital certificates. The Verisign verification takes place in the background every time you place an order.
When you place an order with Surfer Surplus, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you, based on the availability of items ordered and the shipping options you choose. Shipping costs will depend upon the method you choose. Shipping rates for many items we sell are dimension-based. The dimensions of most items can be found in the items description page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. We currently offer the following methods of shipment:
